Metodologia de avaliação
This course is taught in mixed lecture-style / tutorial-style classes that combine moments of presentation of course materials by the lecturer and moments in which students solve practical questions and exercises and discuss the materials taught.
There are lecture handouts and summaries of the topics covered in each class to which the students have access in advance. The lecturer covers the main topics and focuses in those that are usually more difficult. The exercises to be solved are also made available in advance and they cover all the topics in the course outline. In each exercise it is made clear which topic is being covered.
Assessment in this course weights highly work performed in classes considering participation, exercises solved and reports presented both individually and in groups. In the normal examination period this component weights 50% in the final mark. The final exam weights 50%.
