learning by doing! Experiences are important and give you stories to tell in an interview and in other situations related to recruitment processes. What kind of experiences?
In the current job market, it is no longer enough to leave university with only a good academic background. Acquiring high-quality extracurricular and work experiences can set you apart and show employers that you have the skills, knowledge and experience they are looking for.
These experiences can be acquired through:
- Stages: curricular, professional or summer courses. Carrying out an internship can considerably increase the probability of being recruited by the same company, or by another in the same sector. You can, and you should, apply for summer internships from the second year of your degree.
- Volunteering: Choose a volunteer job where you can effectively gain experience and develop skills.
- Associative Activities: It takes part in ISEG associative activities (or outside of it) and participates in events, business challenges and other competitions that companies, associations or clubs organize.
- Sport, music, theatre, etc.
