ISEG congratulates Marta Rosado da Fonseca VieiraMaster in Economics and Public Policy at ISEG, winner of the Jacques Delors Prize 2020 with the work "Subsidiarity as an Institution in Europe: from small steps to a common future". This work corresponds to an extended version of the Final Master's Work that she defended in January 2020 at ISEG.
In addition to the publication of the work, the author will receive a cash prize of EUR 4,000, thanks to the support of Banco de Portugal.
The Jacques Delors Prize was established by the Jacques Delors European Information Center in 1996 to encourage the appearance of unpublished works on the European Union in Portuguese. Works on current and innovative themes of the European reality are privileged, considering in this concept, master's dissertations and doctoral theses not yet published.
