Applications are now open for three scholarships to the European University Institute in Florence:
The grants are open to researchers with an international reputation. Former IUE professors or fellows are eligible after three years since their last contract with the Institute. The duration of the grant is up to 10 months and the amount is 3,000 EUR per month.
Applications until September 30, 2021, for the areas of Economics and History and Civilization.
Max Weber postdoctoral fellowships
Candidates must have defended their doctoral thesis within 5 years before starting the scholarship and must be fluent in English (C1 level). The duration of the scholarship is 1 year, 2 years and, exceptionally, 3 years, according to the IUE Departments, and the amount is 2,000 EUR per month.
Applications until October 18, 2021.
Jean Monnet post-doctoral fellowships
The scholarships are aimed at candidates of all nationalities who obtained their doctorate more than 5 years before the start of the scholarship (doctorate defended before September 1, 2017). The scholarships last for one year, from September to August of the following year, and are worth 2,500 euros per month.
Applications until October 25, 2021.
There are also scholarships for visits to the Robert Schuman Center (IUE) for post-doctoral students and/or experienced professionals working in one of the Center's main research areas. These grants are an opportunity to develop academic research and training in a multidisciplinary environment.
The length of stay is usually between two and eleven months, except during the month of August. Exceptionally, short visits of up to four weeks can be organized, except during the months of July and August.
