The Solemn Session of the 2021-2022 School Year took place on March 30, at 4:00 pm. In addition to the interventions by the President of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo, and the President of the School Board, Professor Vítor Constâncio, also intervened the Magnificent Rector of the University of Lisbon, Professor Luís Ferreira, and the President of the Students Association, doctor Bernardo Varela.
The Wisdom Lesson was the responsibility of the Department of Mathematics, represented by Professor John Nicholas, under the theme “Light-tailed and heavy-tailed distributions in time series”.
We highlight the presence of representatives of numerous ISEG partner entities that awarded our students and to whom we are very grateful: CGD, IAPMEI, Fundação Económicas-KPMG, Banco Finantia, Associação Mutualista Montepio, AEISEG. A special word to the distinguished former students Carlos and Otelinda Silveira. Teachers and employees who stood out in the last period were also honored, as well as those who retired and those who took on new functions.
The doctor Eduardo Catroga, President of the Commission for Commemorations of 111 Years of ISEG, had the opportunity to present to our community the program foreseen for these commemorations.
The Tuna Económicas intervened with musical performances at the beginning and end of the ceremony.
