The National Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Lisbon (MUHNAC-ULisboa) is once again the consortium coordinator for the European Researchers' Night (NEI), which will take place in Lisbon, Braga, Évora and Coimbra. NEI's main objective is to bring scientific research closer to citizens through facilitating communication platforms tailored to the general public.
The theme of the biennium is SCIEGLO - SCIENCE FOR GLOBAL CHALLENGES. In this sense, MUHNAC-ULisboa is counting on the collaboration of researchers to showcase the best that is being done in Portugal in the various disciplinary areas, from the arts to the humanities and sciences.
In 2024, NEI will take place on Friday, September 27, from 5pm to midnight, and in Lisbon, it will be held at the National Museum of Natural History and Science, Lisbon Botanical Garden and Príncipe Real Garden.
As in previous editions, the program will be mixed, with a version with face-to-face activities and a parallel program entirely online.
Researchers can submit their activity proposal until July 31st (inclusive) via the following links:
