ULisboa launches Psychological Crisis Intervention Line - 'Aqui e agora'

The University of Lisbon, through the Mental Health and Well-being Promotion Program, has launched a new free psychological support service, designed to offer psychological support to students, teachers and staff in times of crisis.

The 'Aqui e Agora (Here and Now) - ULisboa Crisis Psychological Intervention Line' is an innovative and accessible mental health support service for the academic community, offering immediate psychological support to those facing situations of emotional crisis, anxiety or high stress.

The line, through a specialized team, provides active listening, as well as guidance and emotional regulation strategies, promoting well-being and the prevention of mental health problems.

The service is available via a telephone line, which works from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 12:30 in the morning, and 14:00 to 17:00 during the afternoon, through the number 210 493 499, which can also be used to send voice messages.

This service is free and exclusive to ULisboa's academic community, being funded by the Directorate-General for Higher Education, as part of the Program for the Promotion of Mental Health in Higher Education, reinforcing the University of Lisbon's commitment to the well-being of its community.
