This infrastructure is the largest Bloomberg Lab on the Iberian Peninsula, allowing access to this tool in a classroom environment, as well as applied work with tools similar to those used by financial professionals around the world.

ISEG's Bloomberg lab will allow students to simulate real market conditions and test investment portfolio management strategies, enabling them to make informed and strategic decisions in complex scenarios.
ISEG students will now be able to take part in the Global Trading Challenge, Bloomberg's largest virtual investment competition, in which they will have USD$ 1 million virtual to simulate and train the investment process through the Terminal with the mentoring of Bloomberg lecturers and experts. They will also have access to specific Bloomberg certifications.
According to João Duque, president of ISEG, "Bloomberg's new laboratory will enable us to train our finance students even better. We're going to stand out even more in our training offer in this area, incorporating the work applied in the courses themselves in a more practical way. Our students will come out even more proficient, and the market will know that when they leave ISEG they really are qualified to work with high performance from their first day at work".
The Bloomberg Terminal revolutionized the financial sector more than four decades ago and is today at the forefront of innovation and the provision of financial information, being one of the most used tools by financial professionals around the world.
