Via its interdisciplinary structures, Farming and Forestry (F3) and redeAGRO, Universidade de Lisboa Food is organising a conference on 'Shaping the Future of Global Food Systems, on the afternoon of the 25th November, 2024.
This event, which is open to academia, industry, policy-makers, and society as a whole, will focus on the Food System, exploring the elements and activities related to food production and consumption, as well as their drivers and consequences, both from a global perspective and in the national context.
Through papers and debates with experts, the objective of the conference is to discuss the necessary transformations and identify strategies that promote healthy and affordable diets, sustainability, food security, and social equity, while also addressing the economic, environmental, and health challenges that affect food production and consumption.
