The new PhD in Planetary Health at the University of Lisbon starts in October 2025, with applications open from march 3rd.
This PhD will address the most critical global challenges at the intersection of health, environmental, social and political sciences, at local, regional and planetary levels, essential to the concept of planetary health. In this PhD, students will be able to develop solutions and apply them in the laboratory or in virtual environments through collaborative teamwork.
The program involves the 18 Schools of the University of Lisbon and the lecturers and thesis supervisors are specialists from various areas and sectors, both academic and non-academic, committed to promoting an environment conducive to high quality, high impact research.
