Biographies:
Maria Ermida
A lyric mezzo-soprano, Maria began her musical studies with Professor Maria João Ferreira. She was later admitted to the National Conservatory in Larissa Savchenko's class and belonged to the Musaico choir. In 2019 she premiered the opera Tudo Nunca Sempre, O Mesmo Diferente Nada by Tiago Cutileiro. In 2023 she was a semi-finalist for the José Augusto Alegria Prize. He is currently working regularly with soprano Inês Simões.
Philippe Marques
He began his musical studies with teacher Catherine Paiva. Later, he was admitted to the National Conservatory in the class of Hélder Entrudo. In 2014, he completed his Master's Degree in Music at the Lisbon School of Music, under the guidance of Miguel Henriques. He performs regularly in some of the most important venues in Portugal, as well as in recitals broadcast on RTP/Antena 2. Throughout his career he has also performed in France, the USA and Brazil. He collaborates with various Portuguese orchestras and ensembles. His discography includes six CDs. He teaches at EAMCN and Escola Profissional Metropolitana.
