Franco-Belgian Recital Concert

Violinist Bruno Monteiro and pianist João Paulo Santos are visiting ISEG for a one-off performance. Franco-Belgian recital. The concert is scheduled for 5th July and will take place in the CGD Auditorium.

Bruno Monteiro is internationally recognised as a "top violinist" (Opus Klassiek), as well as an "admirable artist" (Musical Opinion). For more than 25 years he has led an intense concert activity in recital: as a soloist, with an orchestra, and in chamber music. He has performed in the most important concert halls and music festivals in Portugal.

The pianist João Paulo Santoshas distinguished himself as a conductor of opera, pianist, and researcher of lesser-known, if not forgotten repertoire by Portuguese composers. He has conducted several operas ranging from Menotti to Sondheim, and has directed several Portuguese premieres, including the 2000 Arcate Prize for his direction of Henze's The English Cat.
