The Institute of Public Policy (IPP), in partnership with SEDES - Association for Economic and Social Development, organize a debate at ISEG on "Democracy and the Role of Party Foundations", on July 12.

This event, with the High Sponsorship of His Excellency the President of the Republic and the support of ISEG, is part of the IPP and SEDES Cycle of Debates entitled "Portugal: Small Steps for Big Changes".

The session will be attended by Augusto Santos Silva (President of the Assembly of the Republic), Paulo Trigo Pereira (President of IPP and Professor at ISEG), Álvaro Beleza (President of SEDES), Daniela Schlegel (Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany), José António Vieira da Silva (Executive Director of the Res Pública Foundation), Maria do Céu Patrão Neves (Member of the Board of the Francisco Sá Carneiro Institute). The debate will be moderated by Marina Costa Lobo (Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon and vice-president of IPP).

The debate will take place between 17:30 and 19:00 in the Novo Banco room (Quelhas Building, 4th floor).
