Free courses at ISEG on IPv6, Internet Resources, and Databases

The RIPE NCC, a non-profit organisation responsible for coordinating critical Internet resources, such as IP addresses and Autonomous System Numbers (ASN), will be holding a series of free training courses at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management , from the 4th to the 6th December , 2024.

Operating in Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia, the RIPE NCC plays an essential role in maintaining the Internet's infrastructure. The entity promotes the sharing of knowledge and the development of technical skills, contributing to the stability and security of the global network.

Programme:

Wednesday, the 4th December, 2024LIR Training Course
This course introduces the RIPE NCC's policies and procedures for obtaining and distributing Internet resources. It is designed for telecommunications operators and members of the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS), or similar organisations.
Thursday, the 5th December, 2024
IPv6 Fundamentals Training Course
A training course focused on the IPv6 agreement, covering its importance and implementation. The target audience includes IT and network professionals.
Friday, the 6th December, 2024RIPE Database Training Course
This course teaches how to use and manage data in the RIPE Database, including resources and allocations. This event is also designed for telecommunications operators and members of the RCTS.
