The speaker, Dada KrsnasevanandaAn activist monk, he introduced an alternative social and economic theory called "PROUT" (Progressive Utilization Theory).
The session, which starts at 7.30 p.m. on the Esplanade of Novo Quelhas, is organized by Ananda Marga, a non-profit organization that seeks to help find balance through the practice of meditation, yoga postures and a healthy diet, among other practices.
This spiritual and social service organization was founded in 1955 in India by the great mystic and yogi, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, also known as P. R. Sarkar.
Today, the organization is spread all over the world and its teachers teach the practice of meditation free of charge.
Ananda Marga teaches meditation, yoga and yoga philosophy and lifestyle. It is also active in social service, education, natural disaster and calamity relief, public health, sustainable community development, book publishing, cooperatives and music and the arts.
