In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Order of Economists will award the title of Economist Emeritus to those who have distinguished themselves by having pursued a professional and civic career of recognised merit.
In this context, the Order of Economists proposed awarding this title to Augusto Mateus, a former student and lecturer at ISEG, for his outstanding career in academia and research, as well as for his civic and political intervention in the service of Portugal.
The event will take place at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, and will be attended by the Honouree and all those who wish to contribute to this distinction with their presence
