Biography
Aida Isabel Tavares is an associate professor with aggregation in economics, in the area of Public Economics and Wellbeing. Her area of expertise is Health Economics, and she is particularly interested in the areas of health economics and policy, health systems, health insurance, financing, health determinants, and medicines.
She is a GAT member of the Etical Perspective's assessment for AOL/AACSB. She is a member of the coordination team for the Master of Economics and Public Policies.
She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Department of Economics, and she's part of the Rede Saúde team at the University of Lisbon. She is an integrated researcher and a member of the board of directors of the Center for Health Studies and Research at the University of Coimbra.
