Biography
Assistant Professor and Researcher in the areas of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at ISEG. His research bridges the literature on strategic management and applied psychology to entrepreneurship and organizational behavior. In the field of entrepreneurship, his research analyzes how individual factors (e.g., attitudes, emotions, personality, cognition) affect nascent entrepreneurs' behavior. In addition, he conducts research on how the strategic decisions of founders (e.g., resource allocation, people management) impact the financial performance of startups. His research in the area of organizational behavior is specifically focused on employees' proactive behaviors. This line of research, supported by a strategic management perspective, explores how organizational factors (e.g., leadership, socio-relational elements of work, strategic human resource management) interact with individual factors to explain employees' proactive behaviors (e.g., intrapreneurship and innovative-work behaviors)
