Resumo
The purpose of this paper is analyzing the impact of global warming on banking system. My work consists of a current screenshot of the economy, in the light of recent major climate changes. Along its five compounding chapters, I tend to thoroughly describe how global warming has increasingly exercised its influence on banking policy. I have tried to cover both, physical and transition risks as well as climate stress-testing done in France, UK and by European Central Bank. In the end I have discussed Sustainable Finance and ESG performance as well as highlighted crucial strategies for the future agenda. The main conclusion driven from my case study is that ESG is an increasing factor for firms and investors in the last years.
