This internship report illustrates my six-month internship with the investment team at Athena Ventures in 2023, The primary goal of my internship was to enhance my understanding of the financial industry, particularly venture capital, and to acquire insights into blockchain.
The report begins by exploring the blockchain industry through a literature review, highlighting the growing influence of emerging technologies like blockchain in traditional markets and emphasizing the importance of a robust legal framework in bolstering investor confidence. It then proceeds to detail my daily responsibilities and provides an introduction to Athena Ventures. The central focus of this report is a case study that illustrates the process of project analysis within the fund's guidelines.
This internship allows me to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practice. It provides me with hands-on experience in the financial industry, specifically in the field of venture capital, and offers me valuable insights into the blockchain industry.
