Aluno: Larissa Miranda Rocha Borges

Resumo
This study aims to advance the discussion on Human Resources Management’s value for sustainable development and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A case study within a multinational company in the logistics and supply chain market segment was conducted, using as technique the collection of documentary data (documents provided by the company and reports) and semi-structured interviews with participants divided into three groups: Sustainability, HR and Employees that were not involved with either of the previous. Considering the Ability-Motivation-Opportunities (AMO) theory, this study’s results suggest that the HRM of organizations can further drive the sustainability agenda by fostering employee engagement through the incorporation of sustainability into the area's core practices. From this empirical exploration and relying on current sustainability developments, we contribute to the literature by outlining relevant HRM practices aiming to advance HRM’s engagement with sustainability-driven agendas.
