In the rapidly evolving landscape of the digital age, organizations face an imperative to adapt and transform to remain competitive and relevant. This master's thesis investigates the crucial role of digital leadership in orchestrating and driving digital transformations within organizations. The research delves into the multifaceted dimensions of digital leadership, exploring how leaders harness technological advancements, cultivate innovation, and navigate complexities inherent in digital transformations. Through a comprehensive review of literature, this study examines the key challenges, characteristics, and strategies employed by effective digital leaders to facilitate successful digital transformation. Moreover, this thesis employs a qualitative research approach, incorporating qualitative interviews within diverse organizational settings. By engaging with industry leaders, it aims to elaborate the practical nuances and challenges faced by digital leaders in orchestrating digital transformations. The findings of this study contribute valuable insights into the intricacies of digital leadership and its impact on organizational digital evolution. The implications drawn from this research offer a framework for cultivating effective digital leadership practices and fostering a culture conducive to continuous digital innovation and adaptation.
