Merit-based scholarships are awarded by public and private higher education institutions to students with exceptional achievements, regardless of their income, in accordance with the Regulations for Awarding Merit-based Scholarships to Students of Higher Education Institutions ( Order 13531/2009).
The DGES awards grants to establishments in accordance with article 7 of the above-mentioned order.
