How to register for assessment periods?
Registration for the assessment periods (normal and appeal) of the curricular units (UC) in the 1st and 2nd semester is processed automatically when you register for the curricular units.
The use of the exam in the normal period presupposes compliance with the RGAC (Regulamento Geral de Avaliação de Conhecimentos) - Article 2 - Point 7. As such, you will only be able to take the exam in the normal period when the assessment criteria for the course unit allow it. That is, when the weighting given to the assessment throughout the semester allows you to take the written test in the normal period (you should consult the assessment criteria for each course unit on its page).
Students can still register for the Extraordinary Written Tests and the Improvements by the deadlines indicated, and should consult the important deadlines.

Students can register via WEB through the ISEG Portal - "FENIX", from any computer with an internet connection within the following deadlines:
- Provisional registration 2022/2023 - 18 to 25 July 2022
- Changes to 1st semester registration: September 2-6, 2022
- Changes to 2nd semester registration: February 10-16, 2023
How do I sign up?
1) Login
Select Student tab → Enroll → Create
2) Add
Enroll in compulsory curricular units
Class selection:
Select
- Repeat the process until you are enrolled in all the Curricular Units - If you have optional Curricular Units, you must repeat the process described above in order to be enrolled in them.
- Although there is a specific period for registering for 2nd semester curricular units (the deadline indicated above), it is recommended that you register for all curricular units.
3) Check your registration and/or print the list of Curricular Units you have registered for.
Important Notes:
For each Course Unit you have the following icons/buttons:
CANCEL (the UC registration) - Clicking on this icon will cancel the registration once it has been confirmed, with immediate effect. You may not be able to re-enrol in the class you were enrolled in, so be very careful.
EXCHANGE (registration for another course) - Clicking on this icon displays a table with the existing courses you can register for. Click on the checkbox in the enroll column and a box will appear for you to choose the class. To enroll, click on the checkbox in the "enroll" column; when you confirm the enrollment, it will take effect immediately and will be replaced by the existing enrollment.
CHANGE CLASS (of the course) - When you click on this icon, a box will appear for you to choose a class. To enroll, click on the checkbox in the "enroll" column; when you confirm your enrollment, it will take effect immediately.
ADD UC - When you click on this button, a table appears with the existing UCs in which you can register. Click on the checkbox in the "enroll" column and a box will appear for you to choose the class. To register, click on the checkbox in the "register" column; when you confirm your registration, it will take effect immediately." Registrations will not be accepted after the deadlines." Students whose financial situation is irregular do not have access; as soon as they regularize their situation, they will be able to register, but only within the deadline previously set.
