Academic Merit Awards

With the support of various institutions and companies, every year ISEG awards prizes to those students who have achieved excellent grades, both for their admissions grade and also during their continual assessment.

Scholarships

José Neves Foundation (FJN) Scholarship

As part of this partnership, students of ISEG's Master's degrees, the MBA, and the executive training programmes are all eligible to receive a scholarship from the Foundation to support the payment of their tuition fees.

This scholarship serves as a loan. In other words, all tuition fees paid for by the Foundation have to be re-paid to the Foundation when the student is fully employed and is earning a salary above a certain threshold. This repayment is then reinvested in funding other students by means of the same programme. Further information at https://www.joseneves.org/isa.

Solidarity Economic Alumni

With the support of ISEG and being aware of its social responsibility and of the difficult period faced by displaced students due to the significant increase in accommodation costs in the Lisbon region, Alumni Económicas - ISEG Alumni Association will continue to support, throughout the 2023/2024 Academic Year ISEG Bachelors students (general regime) who are demonstrably in financial difficulties via the Alumni Economic Solidarity Programme (AES).

	Explorer Investments Excellence Award of two Erasmus Scholarships to ISEG Bachelors and Masters students who demonstrate special characteristics of initiative, motivation, and commitment. Consult the Rules and Regulations here.
	EY Best Portuguese student in the 1st Year of the Bachelors in Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management – MAEG.
	Filipa Duarte Carvalho Award A prize awarded to a student who has completed the Mathematical Programming II and Mathematics II course units from 2021/22 and 2023/24, taught by Professor Filipa Duarte Carvalho. Interested students should submit their applications, and a panel will chose the student to be awarded. Consult the Rules and Regulations here.

	Aeeconomics Best student in the 1st year of the Masters in Monetary and Financial Economics. Best student in the 1st year of the Masters in Marketing.
	Montepio Mutualist Association Best student of the Masters in Finance.
	Banco Finantia Best student of the Masters in International Economics and European Studies.
	Caixa Geral de Depósitos Best student in the Masters in Innovation and Research for Sustainability (with the highest final average).
	deloitte Best student of the 1st Year of the Masters in Mathematical Finance. Best student in the 1st year of the Masters in Accounting, Taxation, and Corporate Finance.
	EY Best Portuguese student admitted to study for the Masters in Accounting, Taxation, and Corporate Finance. Best Portuguese student admitted to study for the Masters in Actuarial Science. Best Portuguese student admitted to study for the Masters in Data Analytics for Business.
	Talent Formula Students in the 2nd year of ISEG's Masters in Human Resources Management, with an average grade of 15 or more, who want to carry out their TFM on a topic related to HR management in SMEs, can apply. 	IAPMEI Best student of the Masters in Management and Industrial Strategy.
	Jerónimo Martins The four best students in the 1st Year of the Jerónimo Martins Awards are eligible to apply. Masters in Data Analytics for Business and Masters in Management Information Systems. The students will be asked to present a pitch (on a topic related to their degree) to a panel, which choses the winners. Consult the Rules and Regulations here.
	Economic Journal Best student of the UC in “Derivatives” of the Masters in Finance.
	KPMG Best student of the Masters in Accounting.
	PSE Award Best students of the CU in 'Spatial Econometrics' of the Masters in Applied Econometrics and Forecasting.
	PWC Best student in the 1st year of the Masters in Economics. Best student of the 1st Masters in Quantitative Methods for Economic and Business Decision Making.
	World Surf League Best student in the 1st Year of the Masters in Business Sciences. Best student in the 1st Year of the Masters in MIM.

	Merit Scholarships Fundação Económicas - KPMG Excellence Scholarships awarded to 1st Year Bachelors students in Economics, Management, and Finance, with an average grade of 17.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option and 1st Year Bachelors students in MAEG with an average grade of 18.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option. > Scholarships for the 10 students with the best ISEG application grade. 	Santander Futuro Merit Scholarships Scholarships awarded to 1st Year Bachelors students in Economics, Management, and Finance, with an average grade of 17.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option and 1st Year Bachelors students in MAEG with an average grade of 18.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option. > Scholarships for 40 students who meet the criteria for merit scholarships, supported by the Santander, through the Santander Futuro Scholarships. 	ISEG Merit Scholarships by Career Partners Scholarships awarded to 1st Year Bachelors students in Economics, Management, and Finance, with an average grade of 17.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option and 1st Year Bachelors students in MAEG with an average grade of 18.5 or more, who chose ISEG as their first option. > Scholarships for 88 students who meet the criteria for merit scholarships, supported by the Career Partners. 	DGES Merit Scholarships Merit Scholarships awarded to higher education students in the 1st and 2nd Study Cycle who achieve exceptional academic results, regardless of their income. 	Luís Patrão Scholarships Turismo de Portugal awards 10 scholarships to students about to start an ISEG postgraduate, Masters, or MBA. The overall budget for these grants is €500,000. This programme is for Portuguese students up to the age of 35 who graduated with an average grade of 14 or above. As well as subsidising tuition fees, these scholarships cover the cost of living, in Portugal or abroad, up to a maximum of €60,000 per student.. Deadline for applications - 31st May. 	Payment of SAS Scholarships The full reimbursement of tuition fees of successful applicants for a UL Social Action Services (SAS) scholarship only occurs after the final decision has been issued and after the subsequent confirmation of the granting of the scholarship, subject to payment already having been made. Bachelors students are given an extra 15 consecutive days to settle their tuition fee situation, and should go to the Undergraduates Office (seclic@iseg.ulisboa.pt) to either pay their dues or request a payment plan. Masters students are given an extra 10 consecutive days to settle their tuition fees situation, and should contact the Masters and PhD Office (smd@iseg.ulisboa.pt) to either pay their dues or request a payment plan.
