The following are covered Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)within the framework of the Decree-Law 3/2008 of January 7th.
The status is obtained by submitting a medical report proving the disability and an application addressed to the President, indicating the specifics required, to the Degree Secretariat at the time of registration.
The benefits consist of:
- Possibility, on a case-by-case basis, of adopting the necessary measures to minimize the inconveniences resulting from the disability and by order of the Chairman of the respective Board of Directors;
- Realização de exames na época especial às disciplinas a que se encontra inscrito, até um máximo de 4 exames, sujeito ao emolumento fixado por unidade curricular.
It is compulsory to apply for the special season by submitting the appropriate application to the degree secretariat during the period designated for this purpose.
