Kozminski University was founded in 1993, and is a private university with full academic rights. The university has obtained both Polish and international accreditations, as well as excellent results in global and national educational rankings, which goes to shows the high quality of its degrees and services.

Since 2009, Kozminski University has featured in the prestigious educational rankings which comprise the 'Financial Times' - Business School Rankings, which includes the best universities from around the world. In addition, for the past 17 consecutive years, Kozminski University has been ranked in first place for all the private universities in the 'Perspektywy', 'Rzeczpospolita' and 'WPROST' rankings. Furthermore, Kozminski University received a special distinction from the National Accreditation Committee for its Management, Business Administration and Law degrees.

Kozminski University holds three international accreditations: EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB, which is impressive, as only about 70 business schools from all over the world hold all three accreditations.
