Exam instructions for students

The normal period exam will take place on the  3rd January 2017, at 9:00. It will take at most 2h 30m.  

It is not allowed to use any  electronic devices, books, notes, or any other aid material. The mobile phones and any other electronic devices must be  turned-off.  

It is  necessary to take exam sheets to the exam. You may purchase them at the AEISEG store. Because of the calendar day of the exam, it is suggested that you purchase the exam sheets  before Christmas holidays

The exam  has two parts: Part A, with multiple choice questions, and Part B, with groups of questions with open answers. The answers to   Part A are written on the proper table given with the exam . Each of the groups in  Part B  is answered on separate exam sheets.  Each person should have at least 3 exam sheets.

Only NON-GRAPHICAL calculators are allowed. 

You are required to answer questions using blue or black ink. 

The eligible topics are all those covered in the theory and practice classes, corresponding to the chapters of Krugman and Wells, 2015; 4th ed .:   chapters 2 to 7 and 10 (+Appendix 10) to 16,   inclusive.    Chap. 7 (taxes) topics stop at " Tax Fairness and Tax Efficiency", i.e. pages 203+  (4th ed) are not eligible to the test .

You should bring your Student ID card.

Ensure that you use the toilet before arriving for your exam as you will not be permitted to return after leaving the exam room.

Access to Normal Period Exam

The list of the students with the respective condition with respect to the access to the NORMAL PERIOD EXAM is published in the section "   Exams and tests 2016_17".  

 

According to the assessment rules of this course, only those who have delivered the intermediate test may access the normal period exam. 

 

The students with an  "Y" (yes) may access the normal period exam. The students with a  "N" (no) may not access the normal period exam. They may only do the exam in the Appeal Period.
