Synopsis

My area of research is dynamical systems and ergodic theory. I am particularly interested in understanding the general mechanisms of chaotic and regular dynamics in both conservative and dissipative systems. I use methods from analysis, geometry and probability theory to study and characterize the long-term behaviour of dynamical systems. Certain dynamical systems that I study exhibit stochastic features of random processes, such as ergodicity, decay of correlations, central limit theorems, etc.
